About Andrew Queen

Andrew Queen is an award-winning Canadian songwriter and family folkster. As a child, Andrew discovered the joy of singing silly songs while away at summer camp. Ever since he’s been collecting, singing, writing and recording great kids’ music with that same passion. Hailed as a “troubadour teacher,” and "children's music comic laureate," Andrew is also a substitute Teacher who has been integrating music into Primary/Junior classrooms for nearly twenty years.

Andrew cut his teeth singing, songwriting, crossing the country and playing jug with Toronto band, Jughead. In 2004, he released Alligator Tracks, a collection of songs of adventure, action and imagination for kids (and the adults in their lives!) Andrew sings and plays acoustic guitar, with a little jug and kazoo on the side. He energizes and entertains audiences at schools, libraries, community events and folk festivals.

High energy, big laughs, and tall tales…Andrew Queen dishes up one super-sized order of fun!
